Education Unit

The change of course required in our society in order to move towards a more sustainable way of life will affect all aspects of life for future generations and will require their support. Therefore, a basic prerequisite for this change is raising young people’s awareness about global issues, which is necessary for transformation both in the North and the South.

Alliance Sud produces learning materials on development policy issues. With in-house productions as well as joint productions (with publishing houses and other organizations) in German, French and Italian, Alliance Sud ensures that information about these topics finds its way into a large number of schools.

Alliance Sud is also represented on the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Education and Development. The Foundation supports teachers at all levels in their daily work by providing ideas for lessons focusing on viable development of a global society.
