The Reality of Aid Report 2010
The Reality of Aid Report, an independent review of poverty reduction and development assistance, focuses in its latest edition on Aid and Development Effectiveness in conjunction with human rights, social justice and democracy.
As official development assistance (ODA) falls and donors break their promises of more and better aid to poor countries, the Reality of Aid (RoA) Network highlights the limitations of the aid effectiveness reform agenda and calls for a bolder approach to development cooperation in its new report.
The Reality of Aid Report is written by authors from civil society organisations worldwide. Besides the thematic part it gives an overview of ODA progress and setbacks in the leading donor countries. Alliance Sud is responsible for the section on Switzerland.
